Oh my gourd, I love the fall! ‘Tis the season for auburn leaves, knitted sweaters, Oktoberfest, Halloween costumes, and pumpkin spiced everything. It’s also a great time to start new family traditions, such as dressing your kids up as jack-o’-lanterns and having them pose for photos in pumpkin patches.
Until my daughter is old enough to object to adorable family photos, my wife and I plan to keep this tradition alive as long as we can.
This year, we paid a visit to Millers’ Farm and Market in Manotick, Ontario, which is about a 30-minute drive from downtown Ottawa. In addition to a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, Millers’ Farm offers hayrides, a corn maze, apple cider, fresh pies, and lots of Instagram-worthy views.
Here’s a roundup of fall at the farm.
