Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, was celebrated with Mexican music, food, dance and community-art installations at Artscape Wychwood Barns this past weekend.

Casa Maíz, a Toronto-based cultural organization, coordinated the efforts of musicians, Mexica (Aztec) dancers, culinary creators, artisans, visual artists and performers, among others, to bring this community-sponsored celebration to the St. Clair West neighbourhood.

    Great shots Jon! Looks like it was an exciting and vibrant event. I like your use of B&W photography. Any particular reason for using B&W this time?
